The model horse hobby. Aka breyer horses. I have two of these, so I will customize blackie. You will probably think I'm crazy, but this is a hobby, and people DO do this. yup not lyin'.
Let the cutting begin!
after the leg is clean off, Yup clean off!
I place the leg in the microwave for 20 or more seconds and bend. it heats the plastic.
I then glued it with super glue + baking soda. ( it dries instantly) It's a whole new horse! And that's part one. Part two is re-painting, and a new mane.
We went to the zoo here in Brazil. It mainly consists of animals native to this region. I took this great pic!
This monkey had one arm! They said a cat in the next enclosure attacked him. Poor thing!
This peacock was amazing! The beauty is immense! God made every feather absolutely breath taking! But this guy's attitude seemed almost snobbish. Like," Look at me I'm the best!" I was afraid to get to close because sometimes they attack. He's goes around the zoo as he pleases.
The other animal that got to roam freely were the capybara. These are large rodents that we have in South America. they are so cute! We gave him a carrot from lunch, and he cutely chewed on it.
There was also another peacock in this tree. The way they screech sounds like a lady screaming, It's so weird!
This kitty wanted to steal the Peacock's spotlight at lunch. And get some food. "It's the rare miniature gray tiger!" (with zombie eyes!)
Lot's of pretty falcons! I love birds they are so cool!
Plenty of monkeys too. these are the Capuchin monkeys. Like in the "night in the museum" movie.
This lioness is very active. not really. Big kitty!
leopards have such beautiful spots!
Turtles!
This monkey posed for the pics, he really did! He saw the camera and made faces!
This bird was "in love" with my shoes? REALLY! Cute and creepy!
I've been to this zoo plenty of times, but it's always fun! I had more pictures than this but these are the best. Good bye for now! -bubble face.
You will need: Scissors, glue, square paper, pencils.
Cut about a 1/3 of the way diagonally, on each corner.
Then fold the left edges into the center, and glue. and punch a hole.
Or you can decorate it like this!
Then take one of those...? Things that makes it spin...? What's it called? Push it through the hole, And bend it back, then glue it to the pencil. It should spin when you blow.
Introducing... The World's Smallest Postal Service! This has to be the best set that you could buy! You give little letters to people and packages! I read some of the reviews, and one lady would put it under her child's pillow. So the kid thought the tooth fairy left a letter! Genius! Except when they find out the tooth fairy isn't real. It was $20.00 But totally worth it! The set comes with a magnifying glass. And the the newspaper has miniature news! The newspaper has a recipe for bottle cap pie. so I'm going to try that sometime.
The video is not by me, it's on the site where you buy it. In the video you see a little mailbox, that is included, it's just underneath. This would be fun with barbies. And would make an awesome gift!
You will need: acrylic paint: blue, red, green, yellow, white. paint brush canvas cup of water
1. Sketch the picture of the bird. It doesn't have to be too detailed. but it helps if you know how to draw.
2. start adding some color. you don't need too much detail your just getting the color there. The red spots and the green.
3. Now you do the blue feathers. move your brush in the direction the feathers grow. yes, try to be detailed with the feathers.
4. Now mix white and blue. Then make the smaller light blue feathers above the dark feathers, and the tail feathers.
5. Now fix the messy areas and make them look more like feathers. Don't worry if it's not exactly like the picture.(mine's not) your job is to make it look like a bird. Add the eyes and beak color and don't forget to sign it. your done!
This is Trooper my dog. He is a mix between a doberman and a Rottweiler. He has his tail. That's me in the photo, but i cut myself out. (I didn't want my face on the internet) he's a super sweet dog! I love him! I guess I'm posting more about me than crafts... oh well, I have some in the works, so hang in there!
Yup, It's an opossum! Can you see it? Our dog was barking like crazy at the tree. We looked and saw it was this guy. (or gal?) So cute, but they stink! My brothers wanted to shoot it, but we had to leave for church. (Thankfully!) When we got back he was gone. (Phew! he got to live!)
My dwarf hamster died. She had a rough life. She had at lest 6 litters in her lifetime. With hamsters they sometimes eat their babies. So we went through like 5 litters of babies, and finally on the 6th they survived. I later gave the babies away to good homes. after that I decided to retire her from mothering. Later one day she broke her leg. You know the wheels you put on the walls of their cage? Well, she liked climbing behind them, but she got her leg stuck and was hanging there all night. In the morning I saw her and let her down. but her leg was dangling... only attached by skin! Blood everywhere! I thought she was gonna die! But she proved me wrong! Little biscuit had another year of life. This two year old died on August 11th. Rest in peace my little biscuit! Sorry I don't have any pictures of her. At least I still have my other hamster, Rex.
